About us
Tropinova AG emerged from Klangwandel AG, which was founded in Zurich in 2010 with a share capital of CHF 200,000 by Michael Kägi and Benjamin Koch. We have been offering fiduciary and accounting services since 2012, and one of our first customers was and is Bitforge AG. In 2018 we decided to give up our shop for innovative consumer electronics in the Viaduct and sold our operative business in this area to Fux AG in Zurich, which will continue to run Klangwandel under this brand. Since then we have concentrated on our fiduciary services. Our highly efficient team of federally certified trustees, business specialists and service providers work according to proven and state-of-the-art standards, solutions and methods.

We are committed to both social and environmental causes. For example, we support the Responsible Business Initiative, are members of the ‘Swiss for Ukraine’ association, and have been offsetting our carbon emissions through myClimate ever since our company was founded in 2010. You can read about why we do this in Bill McKibben’s powerful 2012 essay. Unfortunately, not much has changed for the better since then – quite the opposite, in fact.
Here you can see how many years we have left to achieve the 2°C target. The Paris Agreement (2015) aims to limit global warming to well below 2 °C – and ideally to 1.5 °C – compared to pre-industrial levels (1850–1900). This is intended to prevent the dangerous consequences of climate change by reducing greenhouse gas emissions to net zero by the middle of the century. Once the counter hits zero, we must stop emitting any more CO2. In concrete terms, this means no more aeroplanes taking off on kerosene, no more diesel or petrol cars on the road, no more heating systems running on oil or gas, and so on. If we fail to meet this target, life on Earth will become rather uncomfortable.
We at Tropinova AG have already taken action. Our offices are heated using a ground-source heat pump system; we generate our hot water using a solar thermal system; and from July 2026, we will also be sourcing our electricity from the sun and, when the sun isn’t shining, from our own storage facility. Furthermore, we no longer own a company car and travel to our appointments by bike or public transport.
